Alexa Chung and Nick Grimshaw looked a
little forlorn as they headed out to dinner in Los Angeles, no doubt
shocked by the news of the death of Peaches Geldof.
The 25-year-old was found dead at home in Kent on Monday afternoon and her sister Pixie, 23, a close pal of Nick and Alexa, flew straight back to the UK to be with her family.
Pixie is currently at her father Bob Geldof’s house in London and will not be attending this year's Coachella festival. Alexa, too, has cancelled her plans so she can be on hand to comfort her friend.
BFFs Alexa, 30, and 29-year-old Nick were spotted heading to dinner at Los Angeles haunt Chateau Marmont on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile organisers for Coachella yesterday confirmed Pixie has pulled out of her set appearance on April 12, saying: ‘We can confirm that Pixie Geldof was scheduled to DJ at The Old Navy Oasis event, but is no longer participating.’
The weekend festival is due to kick off on April 11. Alexa has also cancelled a DJing gig for Jimmy Choo, as well as other activity, including a friend's hen night to be by Pixie's side.
