25 reasons (in pictures) to visit Maine this weekend...

There are probably 150 good reasons I could list, in one go, for making a move to Maine this weekend. They range from lobster rolls to seaside strolls, but all are things you've most likely heard before. The great state of Maine is not a place you visit and leave. It's a place you visit and leave your heart - right on the seaside. The houses, the rocky beaches, the incredible eats and the friendly people, who call this state home, all make this officially "Vacationland." Yes, you'll find that title confirmed on the state sign as you enter into Maine. While I myself have called Maine a summer home for decades, I've often toyed with the idea of tossing big city life for a year-round coastal perspective. It hasn't happened yet, but it's always on the cards. For now, I'll just say that summers and weekends work just fine for me, and truly I'm never far from this vacation paradise.

So, I thought it high time that I share a few snaps from the coast. This isn't an official list of 25 reasons to visit Maine, but rather 25 pictures that will inspire you to pick up your own camera and pay a visit to a place that has unparalleled beauty waiting to be discovered around every corner. Get packing. Maine is calling!
